Get Involved with Tilbridge Scout Group
Scouting is built on community, adventure, and learning skills for life. Whether you are looking to enrol your child or lend a hand as an adult volunteer, there is a place for you in our group.
We welcome young people of all genders, abilities, and backgrounds. Demand for places can be high, so we encourage parents to add their children to our waiting list early.
Squirrels (Ages 4–6): Fun, outdoor discovery, and earning first badges.
Beavers (Ages 6–8): Trying new activities, team games, and day trips.
Cubs (Ages 8–10½): Camping, outdoor skills, navigation, and badge challenges.
Scouts (Ages 10½–14): Survival skills, leadership, adventure, and night hikes.
Ready to join?
Send an email to info@tilbridgescoutgroup.org.uk with your child's full name, date of birth, and preferred section. We will confirm receipt and add them to our waiting list.
You don't need prior Scouting experience or outdoor expertise to volunteer—just enthusiasm! We offer flexible roles to suit your availability.
Section Leaders & Assistants: Help run weekly meetings, plan games, and supervise outdoor activities alongside an established team.
Group Executive Committee: Support behind the scenes with administration, finance, hall maintenance, or fundraising.
Occasional Helpers: Lend a hand once a month, help transport equipment for camps, or run a single session sharing a personal skill or hobby.
