What do Scouts do?

Scouts is where young people make new friends, have amazing adventures, and learn new skills. From camping and hiking to coding and community projects — there's something for everyone.

Every week we give almost half a million 4–25 year olds the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

Everyone's welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your young person's physical ability — there's a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we'll help them find it.

“Scouts prepares young people for better futures. It gives them skills to achieve the remarkable and develop a deeper understanding of our rapidly changing world”

Founded in 1907, The Scout Movement is a global youth organisation with over 28 million members, making it the largest in the world. The goal has always been to help young people develop and have a positive effect on society.
